Feyenoord fined €25,000 for racist behaviour by fans at Camp Nou | OneFootball

UEFA’s Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has fined Feyenoord a total of €74,375 over supporter behaviour at Camp Nou following their Champions League league-phase match at Barcelona on 9 September, which ended 5-1.

According to L'Équipe, €25,000 of the fine relates to racist or discriminatory conduct by travelling fans. The disciplinary body also issued a suspended sanction cutting the club’s away ticket allocation by 25 per cent for one match.

Several French supporters were subjected to racist abuse by Dutch fans during the fixture.

Further punishment covers objects thrown, with a €26,375 fine.

UEFA also penalised a message deemed incompatible with a sporting event, €10,000, and damage in the visitors’ section, €13,000.
