Feyenoord are said to have started negotiations with Valencia for Yarek Gasiorowski with a bid that will not exceed five million euros. The Spaniards are reportedly demanding around ten million euros for the central defender.
Earlier this week it was said that Feyenoord see the 20-year-old Gasiorowski as a potential successor to David Hancko. The Slovakian will most likely leave De Kuip this summer, forcing the Rotterdammers to report to Valencia.
Relevo have reported that Feyenoord’s opening bid is ‘no more than five million euros’. However, Valencia are asking for ten million euros for the central defender. The result? ‘Negotiations are continuing.’
According to the Spanish outlet, Gasiorowski prefers a longer stay in Spain. “But if he leaves, then Feyenoord look interesting. He needs confidence and playing time. He doesn’t have that at Valencia.”
Gasiorowski started the season as a regular at Valencia, but was spent time on the bench during the campaign. Last season he played just under a thousand minutes in 15 matches for the eventual 12th-placed La Liga side.
