The French Football Federation has announced a press conference on Tuesday 28 July at 11:00, with the next France head coach to be officially unveiled by that time at the latest, confirming Zinédine Zidane as Didier Deschamps’s successor.
The formal announcement ends months of anticipation around the post.

The executive committee will meet on Tuesday morning to ratify the appointment. Zidane is certain to take the role, as has been signalled for months.
He should spend August finalising his backroom staff, before officially starting on 1 September, as set out in contracts signed with the federation.
His debut is expected in the Nations League against Türkiye on 25 September.
