To mark the 2026 World Cup, FIFA has partnered with Lego to offer a life-size replica of the tournament’s trophy.
According to L'Équipe, the competition runs from 11 June to 19 July across the United States, Mexico and Canada, with the final at the Metlife Stadium in New Jersey on 19 July, when the real trophy will be presented.
Supporters and collectors will be able to buy and assemble the brick-built World Cup trophy.
The life-size model is made up of 2,842 pieces and features a base listing the winning nations since 1974.
It also includes a mechanism that reveals a scene hidden inside the globe.
Lego has previously ventured into sport with scaled Porsche or Ferrari sets and replicas of the stadiums of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
