African football will be strongly represented at the FIFA Arab Cup 2025, which will take place in Qatar from December 1 to 18.

Six African nations will compete in the tournament: Algeria, Morocco, Sudan, Comoros, Tunisia, and Egypt.

Here are four African stars poised to shine throughout the competition.

Islam Slimani (Algeria)

No longer part of Vladimir Petkovic's plans as Algeria's head coach, the legendary Fennecs striker will bolster the Algeria A' squad for the FIFA Arab Cup 2025.

Across 102 international appearances, Islam Slimani has netted 46 goals and provided 23 assists.

Ali Maâloul (Tunisia)

The former Al Ahly star will captain the Carthage Eagles during the FIFA Arab Cup 2025.

At 36 years old, Ali Maâloul has played 90 matches for the Tunisian national team, scoring 3 goals and delivering 11 assists.

Abderrazak Hamdallah (Morocco)

Left out of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) squad, the Al-Shabab FC striker will reinforce Morocco's A' team at the Arab Cup.

The 35-year-old boasts 25 appearances for the Atlas Lions, recording 7 goals and 3 assists.

Mohamed Elneny (Egypt)

The former Arsenal midfielder is also not included in Egypt's plans for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025).

He will look to bring his wealth of experience to Egypt's secondary squad, which is aiming for a second title in the Arab Cup.
