Football fans are in for a treat this December as two major tournaments take center stage: the Arab Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations.

Africa will be represented by at least four nations in the Arab competition—Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, and Egypt—while Mauritania, South Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Djibouti, and Comoros will battle it out in the playoffs.

This tournament will be broadcast exclusively by the two Qatari networks, Al Kass and BeIN Sports, AD Sports, Dubai Sports..

A host of renowned African players will take part in the tournament, including Yacine Brahimi, Riyad Boudebouz, and Islam Slimani (Algeria), Yassine Meriah and Ferjani Sassi (Tunisia), Mohamed Elneny (Egypt), as well as Abderrazak Hamdallah, Walid Azaro, and Younes Abdelhamid (Morocco).

While Tunisia has decided to use the tournament as preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Algeria, Morocco, and Egypt have opted to field players who are not eligible for their senior national teams in the Arab Cup of Nations.
