It is time to dive into the top performers from the FIFA Power Rankings - powered by Aramco.
Attacking Score: Charles De Ketelaere
Despite Belgium’s defeat, Charles De Ketelaere leads the way with the highest Attacking Score of 8.15.
He not only scored Belgium’s only goal of the game but was also a constant threat to the Spain defence through his clever movement and ball-carrying ability.
Creativity Score: Jérémy Doku
Another Belgium star topped the Creativity Score rankings, with Jérémy Doku earning an impressive score of 8.18, higher than even Lamine Yamal.
Doku was undeniably Belgium’s main creative outlet, persistently driving at the Spain backline, while his dribbling and progressive play repeatedly pushed his side forward.
Defending Score: Rodri
Spain midfielder Rodri secured the highest Defending Score of 7.15 as he shielded the backline and helped disrupt Belgium’s counter-attacks.
At the FIFA World Cup 2026™, FIFA launched a new individual player ranking system based on data collected during matches. The FIFA Power Rankings provide objective, data-driven insight into player performance.
All outfield players will receive a score between 0-10 in three categories (attacking, creativity and defending). Goalkeepers will be scored in two categories: in possession and defending the goal. A ‘Power Ranking Classification’ will be produced after each match round, showing the top 100 players in each category. The Power Ranking is considered as a measure of match and tournament performance: each player receives a score for each match and for their overall performance in the tournament.
