DR Congo on course for a historic breakthrough in the FIFA rankings

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is set to make a significant leap in the new FIFA rankings, which are scheduled to be published by FIFA on Wednesday, November 19.
This November ranking carries great importance, even though the "Leopards" are already guaranteed a bye to the semi-finals of the intercontinental play-offs for qualification to the 2026 World Cup.
According to calculations by the specialist site football-ranking, DR Congo is expected to jump four spots in the table, climbing to 56th place after holding 60th in October.
