The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) released its new monthly national team ranking this Thursday, following the international break that took place from September 1 to 9.The previous update dated back to July 10, more than two months ago.On the global stage, Spain sits atop the standings after an impressive run in the World Cup qualifiers. "La Roja" thrashed Turkey 5-0 and defeated Bulgaria 3-0, further solidifying their top spot.In Africa, Morocco ranks 11th in the world with 1706 points, followed by Senegal (18th), Egypt (35th), Algeria (38th), and Ivory Coast (44th). Some teams have made significant progress, such as the "Carthage Eagles" who climbed three spots, while Algeria dropped two positions.The next FIFA national team ranking will be published on October 23, 2025.
