After lifting the Champions League trophy with PSG, Gianluigi Donnarumma has rightfully been named the best goalkeeper of 2025 at the FIFA The Best awards.

Winner of the Yashin Trophy at the latest Ballon d'Or ceremony, Gianluigi Donnarumma, goalkeeper for Manchester City and last season's Champions League champion with PSG, has been crowned the season's best goalkeeper by The Best. This prestigious award is presented by FIFA.

The Skyblues' shot-stopper finished ahead of Alisson Becker (Brazil/Liverpool), Thibaut Courtois (Belgium/Real Madrid), Manuel Neuer (Germany/Bayern Munich), David Raya (Spain/Arsenal), Yann Sommer (Switzerland/Inter Milan), Wojciech Szczesny (Poland/Barcelona), and last year's winner Emiliano Martinez (Argentina/Aston Villa).
