Flamengo could be short of up to nine players for their planned Brasileirão match against Bragantino on one April, with the final FIFA window before the World Cup running from 23 to 31 March. According to Coluna Do Fla, multiple internationals may be called during that period.
Brazil's preliminary list includes Léo Pereira, Danilo, Alex Sandro and Paquetá, who have strong chances of being involved. Brazil face France on 26 March, then Croatia on 31 March.
Uruguay are also expected to select Arrascaeta, De La Cruz and Varela. They play England on 27 March, then Algeria on 31 March.
Italy are assessing a call-up for Jorginho for their game against Northern Ireland on 26 March, which could take Flamengo's contingent to nine. With most internationals on 31 March, anyone selected would be unlikely to feature the next day if Bragantino is dated for one April. The CBF have yet to confirm the fixture date.
Before then, Flamengo host Remo on Thursday 19 at the Maracanã in the seventh round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. Kick-off is at 20:00, Brasília time, with coverage on Premiere pay-per-view.
