The Senegalese Football Federation has announced the Lions of Teranga's schedule for the international window in March 2026, as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2026 World Cup, set for next summer.

Senegal to take on Gambia and Peru in friendlies

The squad led by Pape Thiaw will play two friendly matches. The first will be at home against neighboring rivals Gambia. The second will take place in Paris, where Senegal will face Peru, the South American representative.

The match against Gambia is expected to be played at the Abdoulaye Wade Stadium in Diamniadio. This information was confirmed by Ndiambé Diop, president of the organizing committee of the Senegalese Federation, in recent statements to the press.

This fixture will give captain Sadio Mané and his teammates the chance to reunite with their home fans and once again celebrate their recent continental triumph.

The second test, scheduled for Paris against Peru, will present a different challenge, allowing the coaching staff to assess the team against South American opposition ahead of the global showdown.

The international break will run from March 23 to 31, 2026. The official dates for both fixtures will be announced at a later time.
