MIAMI – Reigning Concacaf W Champions Cup holders Gotham FC will be one of the four sides vying to win the FIFA Women's Champions Cup 2026, the inaugural edition of the tournament that will pit four continental champions on January 28 and February 1 in London, England.
Here are five things to know ahead of the final phase of the FIFA Women's Champions Cup 2026:
Continental champions face off
Champions of different regions from across the world: Gotham FC (Concacaf), Arsenal (UEFA), AS FAR (CAF), and Corinthians (CONMEBOL) will be the four teams to dispute the final phase of the first edition of the FIFA Women's Champions Cup.

Gotham FC qualified to the FIFA Women's Champions Cup as winners of the 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup. The reigning NWSL champions will seek to add another title to its growing trophy case.
The Concacaf representatives will meet CONMEBOL champions Corinthians in the Semifinals.
London 2026
The final phase of the inaugural FIFA Women's Champions Cup will take place in two venues in London, England.
The Semifinals being held at Brentford Stadium on January 28. The Final and Third Match will take place at Arsenal Stadium on February 1.
First phase played in 2025
The first phase of the inaugural FIFA Women's Champions Cup began in October 2025 with Asian champion Wuhan Jiangda defeating Oceania champions Auckland United FC in Round One.
African champions AS FAR defeated Wuhan Jiangda in Round Two last December to confirm the fourth participant in the Semifinals.
An annual showcase of the world’s best
Part of the FIFA program to grow women’s football competition across the federations, the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup is an annual tournament featuring the club champions from each confederation.
It is a different competition than the FIFA Women’s Club World Cup, which will kick off in 2028 and be played every four years.
