Figueiredo has left Palmeiras after an amicable contract termination and is joining Ceará on a deal running to January 2027.
According to Globo.com, Palmeiras will retain 30% of his economic rights and are due the 5% Fifa solidarity payment on any future sale. Ceará targeted a midfielder to develop in their under-20s, hoping he can progress to the senior side.
Figueiredo said he is delighted by the new challenge and grateful for his time at Palmeiras, adding that it felt right to seek a fresh start. He stressed he arrives motivated, ready to represent Ceará as well as possible, and vowed full commitment on the pitch.
Regarded as a highly rated academy product, he ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in March 2025, shortly before the Under-20 Libertadores. His recovery lasted 15 months.
Now fit, he has not featured again for Palmeiras’ first team, playing only at under-20 level. He made two appearances in the 2026 Under-20 Brasileirão without scoring.
At 20, his sole senior outing for Palmeiras came against Corinthians in the Paulistão 2025, when he played the final 11 minutes. He is from the same generation as Endrick, Luis Guilherme and Vitor Reis, who won the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior in 2023 and are currently at European clubs.
