Filip Jorgensen has taken to social media and posted a 12 word message amid doubts over his future at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea signed Jorgensen from Spanish side Villarreal in the 2024 for a fee believed to be £20.9m after the Dane had impressed in La Liga.

However, the 23-year-old has had to play second fiddle to Robert Sanchez for the majority of his time in west London.

Jorgensen has made 28 appearances in all competitions for the Blues, but has made just four appearances so far this season.

The Denmark international struggled against both Lincoln and Wolves in the Carabao Cup, whilst his only appearance in the league was against Manchester United after Sanchez got sent off.

It’s said Chelsea will decide whether they let Jorgensen leave next month, and any departure would require a replacement, which can be difficult to find in January.

Enzo Maresca admitted last month he’d not spoken to Jorgensen about his future, and the keeper has taken to Instagram to post an update.

He posted a series of photos with the caption:

“Locked in on the vision. Trusting the process to take me there.”

Chelsea believe in Mike Penders

Whilst it looks like Jorgensen’s future lies away from Chelsea, the same can’t be said for talented youngster Mike Penders.

Chelsea clearly view the 20-year-old as their long term number one, and he’s currently impressing on loan at Strasbourg.

The Blues are said to believe Penders is a special talent, but they face the difficult decision of deciding when he’s ready to make that step up.

Ideally Penders could do with another year at Strasbourg, but it will be interesting to see how he develops over the course of the season, and what decision Chelsea make in the summer.
