UEFA announced that Qatar will host the 2026 Finalissima between Spain, winners of Euro 2024, and Argentina, the Copa América 2024 champions.
The match will be staged at Lusail Stadium on Friday 27 March 2026, kick-off 21:00 local time.
Argentina won the most recent edition in 2022, beating Italy 3-0 at Wembley in London.
This intercontinental fixture, previously known as the Artemio Franchi Cup, was revived after nearly 30 years in abeyance.
France lifted the inaugural title in 1985 at the Parc des Princes with a 2-0 win over Uruguay. Argentina then edged Denmark in 1993 in Buenos Aires after a 1-1 draw, winning 5-4 on penalties.
