Viola director Fabio Paratici has been credited with getting the move over the line, having shown interest in Atta during his time with Tottenham Hotspur.

As part of the package, Udinese will retain a 30% sell-on clause, reducing the upfront outlay for Fiorentina.

There are conflicting figures on the initial fee, with some indications of €25m and others closer to €30m.

The 23-year-old is expected to sign a four-year contract worth around €1.3m per season, and he is expected to undergo a medical on Thursday.
