Napoli’s hunt for new signings continues as they have had a bid rejected by Fiorentina for Antonin Barak.
The Partenopei are keen on solving their issues this season and are interesting in bolstering their squad to challenge for the European spots. But it seems as if they have been dealt a blow once again.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that their attempt to sign Barak from Fiorentina has been rejected by La Viola. The Naples-based reigning champions put forward an initial loan deal with the option to buy the Czech midfielder permanently.
The Partenopei offered an initial loan fee of €500k, with the option to buy at €6 million in the summer transfer window. Fiorentina would not want to lose the player at that price, with Napoli now forced to either increase their bid or move to other targets.
Barak’s time at Fiorentina hasn’t been as sparkling as many would have expected when he did well in his stint at Verona.
