Fiorentina could be without key striker Moise Kean for a crucial Serie A clash against Cremonese on Monday evening.
The Viola are preparing for a high-stakes relegation battle at the Stadio Zini, pitting the third-bottom side against the team just above them. A victory would allow Fiorentina to open a four-point cushion above the drop zone, making the fixture potentially decisive for the closing stretch of their turbulent season.
The Tuscan side approach the match after their comeback victory over Rakow Czestochowa in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16, but domestic concerns now take priority as they look to secure vital league points.

Head coach Paolo Vanoli is hoping to welcome Kean back into the squad, although the striker’s availability remains uncertain. The former Juventus forward has not played since March 2, when he was forced off in the 71st minute during Fiorentina’s defeat to Udinese.
Since then, Kean has missed the following Serie A match against Parma Calcio 1913 as well as the European fixture with Rakow due to a tibia issue.
Reports from Goal indicate the striker has still not returned to full group training and has continued to work individually in recent days. Fiorentina’s medical staff will monitor his progress closely over the coming days in the hope he can recover in time for the trip to Cremona.
Given the importance of the match, there is also the possibility Kean could be included even if he is not at full fitness, though a final decision will likely come closer to kick-off.
