Serie A side Fiorentina unlikely to consider Brentford’s initial proposal for Michael Kayode.
According to a report by Sky Italia, Premier League outfits Brentford have sent a preliminary offer to Fiorentina to secure the services of Michael Kayode this summer. The Bees were aiming to bring the Italian right-back on loan with a buy option linked to appearances for around €20/22 million.
The Viola are not looking for such a solution in regards to the 20-year-old as he has much to offer in the future and the club are expected to consider proposals with a significant resale value included.
Kayode was a regular for the Florence-based side last season, making 31 appearances across all competitions. It is predicted that Brentford’s bid was a survey to understand the player’s demands and Fiorentina’s valuation of the youngster.
The Londoners have little time to launch another offer as the transfer window draws to a close.
