Fiorentina without Gudmundsson and Rugani for Como trip | OneFootball

Fiorentina will be without Albert Gudmundsson and January signing Daniele Rugani for Saturday’s Serie A trip to Como. According to Football Italia, both miss out on the travelling squad.

The match kicks off at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia at 14.00 GMT, 15.00 CET. Tariq Lamptey remains a long-term absentee after knee surgery on a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Gudmundsson sprained his left ankle in last week’s 2-2 draw with Torino and was carried off. Despite positive signs in training, medical staff chose not to risk further damage, so the Iceland international will not travel.

Rugani arrived on deadline day carrying a calf strain and is yet to make his Fiorentina debut. His last appearance came in Juventus’ 2-1 win over Roma on December 20.

Moise Kean should therefore be flanked by January recruits Jack Harrison and Manor Solomon.
