Fiorentina are now working to sign Napoli’s Diego Demme as they look to bring in a replacement for midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
Amrabat could yet leave La Viola, with Manchester United continuing to circle around him. FirenzeViola state that Fiorentina are trying to bring in two more players before deadline day – Demme and ex-Bologna star Arthur Theate.
The Florence side are confident about landing Demme, who has recently rejected a chance to join Hertha Berlin. Demme is pushing to leave the Partenopei and Fiorentina have prepared a two-year deal for the German, whose arrival at the Artemio Franchi is inching closer.
Theate has given a go-ahead to a move to Fiorentina, who are discussing an initial loan deal with Rennes and could insert an obligation to buy. The Belgian prefers Fiorentina over RB Leipzig, who are also keen. A move for Theate is not related to Lucas Martinez Quarta’s situation, with Real Betis having failed in a move for the defender in recent days.
