The attacking player was accompanied by several family members as well as his agent, Ali Dursun. Right on the tarmac, the delegation was greeted by Bayern team manager Sonny Scherer and members of the media team, who took the first official photos of the new signing.

Welcome at Säbener Straße

Saibari then made his first visit to Säbener Straße. There, the 25-year-old and his family were given a tour of the training facility and the offices of Germany’s record-holding champion. Among other things, the club’s most important trophies were presented to the new signing.

Saibari had already signed his contract, which runs through 2031, during the World Cup in the U.S. The official presentation in Munich now marks the next step in his transfer.

Another important part of the program was a visit to team doctor Dr. Jochen Hahne. Saibari had suffered a thigh injury in the World Cup round of 16 against Canada and subsequently missed the quarterfinal against France.

There is no official diagnosis or specific recovery timeline yet. However, following the examination in Munich, it should soon become clear when the versatile attacking player can rejoin team training.

There are still a few days left until training begins under Vincent Kompany on July 20. Saibari will first take a vacation and rejoin the team later.

The Belgian is considered one of the biggest advocates of the transfer. Kompany sees Saibari as an extremely versatile attacking player who can be deployed in attacking midfield, on either wing, or as a center forward.

Saibari wrapped up his first official day on the job as a Bayern pro in the early afternoon. Before leaving, the Moroccan took the time to pose for a photo with a young Bayern fan who was already wearing his new jersey with the number 34 on the back.
