After a demanding week with three matches across two different competitions, including the start of the new Champions League campaign, Inter are set to return to the pitch. Before the October international break, Simone Inzaghi’s side will face three fixtures in a single week.
The first challenge sees the Nerazzurri take on Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium - Stadio Friuli on Saturday 28 October, at 15:00 CEST. Following that, the Champions League resumes, with Inter hosting Crvena Zvezda at San Siro on Tuesday, 1 October, at 21:00 CEST, an exciting clash after their draw away to Manchester City on matchday one. The final match before the break is scheduled for Saturday, 5 October, at 20:45 CEST, when Inter face Torino at San Siro.
It will also be a busy period for Inter Women. Gianpiero Piovani’s side remains unbeaten in the league after the first three matches, with two wins against Sampdoria and Napoli, and a draw in the derby against AC Milan.
In the next three rounds of the league, the Nerazzurre will play two away games against Sassuolo and Como, with a home clash in between against reigning champions Roma at the Arena Civica in Milan on Saturday, 5 October, at 15:00 CEST.
Inter Primavera has three key fixtures before the international break. Andrea Zanchetta's Under-20 side has earned 7 points in the first 5 rounds of the Primavera 1 league, with two wins and a draw.
The Nerazzurri will face Sampdoria away in the 6th round, with the match scheduled for Friday, 27 September, at 18:30 CEST. After that, Zanchetta’s squad will return to UEFA Youth League action following their impressive victory against Manchester City, hosting Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday 1 October, at 14:30 CEST at the KONAMI Youth Development Centre. Finally, before the league break, they will take on Hellas Verona at home on Saturday, 5 October at 13:00 CEST.
