According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo have altered today’s schedule so Filipe Luís can visit CT Ninho do Urubu and say goodbye to the squad.

Filipe Luís is no longer the club’s head coach. He was dismissed minutes after his post-match interview following the rout of Madureira, leaving no chance to bid farewell.

What had been a day off has become a training session from 15:00, Brasília time, at the training ground. Filipe Luís will attend to address the players one last time.

Staff members Ivan Palanco and Diogo Linhares are also expected to be there to share final words. After those announcements, Rodrigo Caio resigned from his role, making it four departures in football.

Flamengo have moved to appoint Leonardo Jardim. The Portuguese arrives tonight to finalise remaining contract details.

While the hierarchy settle the new appointment, Flamengo face Fluminense in the Carioca final on Sunday at the Maracanã, with kick-off at 18:00, Brasília time.
