Flamengo are awaiting Plata’s return after his move to Dynamo Moscow collapsed. The Ecuadorian forward is likely to miss Remo on Sunday in the Brasileirão, and could return against Independiente del Valle in the Conmebol Libertadores.

He has left Russia and is returning via a European stopover, with Flamengo expecting him to report on Friday or, at the latest, Saturday. The club said in a statement that he will be reintegrated into the squad.
