Flamengo are actively exploring options to bolster their attack, with Swiss forward Noah Okafor emerging as a player under consideration. The 25-year-old, whose rights belong to Milan, recently spent a brief loan spell at Napoli but failed to find regular minutes, making just four substitute appearances without scoring. With his loan ending on June 30 and his future at Milan uncertain, Flamengo have initiated background checks but, as of now, have not made a formal bid for the winger.
Okafor, who built his reputation at Red Bull Salzburg with 34 goals in 110 games before moving to Milan, often features on the left flank but is capable across the attacking line. His previous attempt at a transfer—an aborted move to RB Leipzig in January, reportedly due to a failed medical—reflects recent instability in his club situation. Flamengo's approach remains measured, with the possibility of waiting until after the Club World Cup before advancing discussions.
Meanwhile, in the midfield, Flamengo have shut down approaches for Allan. The club rebuffed Atlético-MG’s interest in re-signing the defensive midfielder, who moved from Atlético to Flamengo for 43 million reais in July 2023. Flamengo clearly sees Allan as a core part of their current plans, and no negotiations are underway or expected. Allan has tallied 19 appearances so far this season, including five in the national league, which would permit a move to another Serie A club should Flamengo agree—though there is no indication they will.
Internally, Flamengo’s scouting and football operations continue to examine options to strengthen wider attacking positions, even as speculation continues around the arrival of Carrascal to add depth and versatility across the midfield and wings. The club maintains a patient stance, weighing both timing and valuation as the transfer window and Club World Cup approach.
