Flamengo host Bragantino seeking to improve home form in Brasileirão 2026 | OneFootball

Fresh from a 2-1 win over Corinthians, Flamengo target a 10th home victory in the 28th round of the Brasileirão 2026 against Red Bull Bragantino.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo have played 13 home league games at the Maracanã this season, winning nine, drawing three and losing one, a 76.9% return. They rank second among home teams, behind only Fluminense, with Palmeiras, Vitória and Athletico-PR completing the top five.

Despite first-half pressure against Corinthians, Flamengo could not find a way through. Two minutes into the second half, Arrascaeta’s corner was parried by Hugo Souza into the path of Lucas Paquetá, who controlled with his left and drove in to open the scoring.

Corinthians levelled on 32 minutes, Breno Bidon feeding Kaio César, who combined with Garro before squaring for Gui Negão to make it 1-1.

At 43 minutes of the second half, substitute Bruno Henrique settled it for Flamengo. Samuel Lino combined with Jorginho, who played first time to Joaquín Freitas on the left, and the Argentine crossed for the captain to score.

Flamengo lead the Brasileirão on 57 points, one ahead of Palmeiras on 56. Kick-off against Red Bull Bragantino is on Sunday 20 at 18:30, Brasília time, at the Maracanã. The match will not be shown on free-to-air television and will be available on SporTV and Premiere.
