Leonardo Jardim is expected to keep faith with his recent core. Flamengo are likely to start with Rossi, Royal, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Ayrton Lucas, Erick Pulgar, Jorginho, Arrascaeta, Carrascal, Samuel Lino and Pedro.

Jardim is without Alex Sandro, Vitão and De La Cruz through injury, all remain in the medical department. New signings Anthony Valencia and Joaquín Freitas also miss out after failing to be registered in time on the CBF’s BID, making five absences.

Opposite number Rafael Guanaes has issues too. Neto Moura is suspended, while Negueba, Aldo Filho and Edson Fora are sidelined with injuries.

Flamengo sit second on 48 points, four behind leaders Palmeiras on 52, and victory would trim the gap to one. Mirassol are 16th with 25 points, focused on steering clear of the relegation zone.
