Benfica winger Éverton Soares would jump at the chance to play for Flamengo, according to his agent Mario Cruz.
The Rubro-Negro are short on attacking options with Kenedy returning to Chelsea early from his loan spell and Michael set to join Saudi side Al-Hilal.
But Éverton could be fill the hole in the Mengão squad, with Cruz insisting the Brazil international Everton is keen on the move.
“Flamengo is a different club, of course, he would like to play for Flamengo,” the agent told journalist Julio Miguel Neto.
“A return to Brazil is very important at this point in his career.”
The former Grêmio man is under contract in Portugal until 2026, and reportedly Benfica will only consider a permanent move for the exciting winger.
Flamengo get their 2022 season under way on Wednesday when they host Portuguesa RJ in the Taça Guanabara.
