Flamengo in talks for Luiz Henrique, Zenit and Russian league dribble leader | OneFootball

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo are in talks to sign Luiz Henrique, the Zenit winger who led dribbles for the club and across the Russian league in 2025/2026, though no official offer has yet been made.

He completed 50 dribbles in 28 matches, the highest total in the division. Houssem Mrezigue of Dynamo Moscow ranked second with 45.

The former Botafogo player attempted 103 dribbles, giving him a 49 percent success rate. Lechii Sadulaev attempted 111, with 38 successful.

If Flamengo complete the deal, he would join a squad already rich in dribblers. Gonzalo Plata has 35 this year, while Jorge Carrascal and Samuel Lino have 33 each in 2026 so far.

Talks are being handled cautiously given the cost, with the fee more than 25 million euros, around R$146.2 million.

Flamengo had explored Thiago Almada, but the playmaker agreed a move to River Plate (ARG). Beyond Luiz Henrique, no other likely targets have emerged, though the club are monitoring more than one option.

Focus now turns to the Brasileirão, with Vitória visiting the Maracanã this Sunday at 19:30 Brasília time in round 22.
