Flamengo are monitoring Real Betis midfielder Nelson Deossa ahead of the next transfer window.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the 26-year-old is being tracked by the Rio club, while River Plate and Tigres also hold interest.

Even so, Deossa’s position is not a priority for Flamengo, as he operates mainly as a second midfielder and the squad already includes Jorginho, Saúl, De La Cruz and Lucas Paquetá.

The Colombian came through Independiente Yumbo, featuring for Atlético Nacional, Monterrey and Betis. He joined the Spanish club in August 2025 for 12 million euros, around R$ 70 million.

He is valued at 9 million euros, roughly R$ 52.6 million. In 2025/26 he has made 32 appearances and provided one assist.

Flamengo visit Vitória on Thursday 14 at 21:30 Brasília time in the Copa do Brasil fifth phase second leg. After a 2-1 win in the first leg, they can draw to reach the last 16.
