Flamengo name squad to face Remo as busy week begins | OneFootball

Flamengo have named their travelling squad to face Remo as they kick off a demanding week that includes a trip to Ecuador.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the team leave Rio for Belém to meet Remo, then fly on to face Independente del Valle later in the week.

Goalkeepers: Rossi, Andrew, Dyogo Alves. Defenders: Danilo, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira, Vitão. Full-backs: Ayrton Lucas, Emerson Royal, Varela, Johnny.

Midfielders: Carrascal, Arrascaeta, De La Cruz, Erick Pulgar, Jorginho, Lucas Paquetá, Lorran, Saúl. Forwards: Bruno Henrique, Everton Cebolinha, Joaquín Freitas, Luiz Araújo, Pedro, Samuel Lino, Valencia.

New signings Joaquín Freitas and Anthony Valencia are included and could get minutes against Remo. De La Cruz and Vitão return after long injury lay-offs and are back at the coaching staff's disposal.

Alex Sandro remains in the medical department and does not travel, leaving Leonardo Jardim with Ayrton Lucas and Johnny for the role.

Evertton Araújo misses out with a serious right adductor injury and has no timeframe to return. Plata remains absent after a failed negotiation with Dínamo de Moscou, with an expectation he travels this week and could be available for the Del Valle match.

Flamengo meet Remo at Estádio do Mangueirão in Belém on Sunday at 16:00 Brasília time. They then face Independente del Valle at Estádio Olímpico Atahualpa on Thursday at 21:30 Brasília time.
