Flamengo have released De Arrascaeta to report to Uruguay, where he will continue treatment on a fractured right clavicle, aiming to be fit for the World Cup that begins on 11 June.
He was injured in the 29 April draw with Estudiantes in the Libertadores, suffering the break after a first-half clash with Piovi that led to surgery. The club said in a statement that he has been cleared to join the national set-up in his home country, where he will be overseen by Uruguay's medical staff.

Since the operation he has undergone full-time physiotherapy and maintained his fitness with gym work at Flamengo.
There are 46 days between the surgery date and Uruguay's opening match at the World Cup.
He would not be available for Flamengo before the World Cup break.
