Flamengo revive 2019 idea with match patches, debut against Cruzeiro in Libertadores

Flamengo are reviving a 2019 initiative by launching collectible patches for each Copa Libertadores game. The series debuts against Cruzeiro at the Maracanã.

According to Globo.com, the first batch will be sold on Wednesday at the round of 16 second leg, priced at R$ 50, with only 1,000 individually numbered pieces.

Buyers can register the patches in their own names, linking the physical item to a fully digital collection.

In 2019 the club sold exclusive coins for every Libertadores fixture, marked with the date, stage and opponent. The new run follows the same game-by-game concept.

Sales will be at the stadium’s official kiosks, with the match kicking off at 21:30 Brasília time.
