Flamengo set special travel plan for Colombia and Porto Alegre double-header | OneFootball

Flamengo have moved on from the 2-2 draw with Vasco and put in place a special travel plan for consecutive away fixtures in Colombia and Porto Alegre.

They visit Independiente Medellín in the Libertadores group stage on Thursday 7 at Estádio El Atanasio, 21:30 Brasília time. According to Coluna Do Fla, the squad will not return to Rio, instead flying straight from Medellín to Porto Alegre to face Grêmio on Sunday 10 in the 15th round of the Brasileirão.

Once in Porto Alegre, Flamengo will train at Internacional’s training centre on Friday 8 and Saturday 9. The Grêmio match is scheduled for 19:30, Brasília time.

The Independiente Medellín game will be shown live on ESPN for subscribers and via Disney+ Premium on streaming.

Flamengo top Group A with seven points, with Estudiantes de La Plata second on five. A win in Medellín could leave their last-16 qualification well on track.
