Flamengo ‘show interest’ in Coritiba teenager Khensane | OneFootball

Flamengo have shown interest in Coritiba teenager Khensane as they assess options to bolster their squad this season, according to Coluna Do Fla.

The 17-year-old midfielder is regarded as one of Coritiba’s leading academy prospects, and Flamengo have sought information on his situation. The Paraná club are aware of the interest.

There are no talks under way between the clubs. Flamengo understand the release clause to be 30 million euros, around R$ 185 million at current rates.

Olympique de Marseille and Roma also asked Coritiba to allow Khensane to spend a few days training with them, but the request was declined.

While recruitment work continues, the first team turn to the Carioca quarter-final against Botafogo on Sunday 15. Kick-off is 17:30 Brasília time at Estádio Nilton Santos.
