Flamengo are scouring the market for a new centre forward for 2026. According to Coluna Do Fla, Tottenham striker Richarlison has sustained a serious thigh injury and faces a lengthy spell out.
On Thursday, Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank said the Brazilian had suffered a thigh problem. The recovery is put at seven months, with a return pencilled in for March.
Richarlison has been one of Tottenham's standouts this season under Frank. He has played 33 games and scored eight goals.
Flamengo's season began on Sunday 11, and the club continue to weigh up options up front. Richarlison's name has been floated as a possible target.
At present, Pedro is the only out-and-out centre forward in the squad. The club are in talks with Red Bull Bragantino over Wallace Yan. Juninho has been sold to Pumas in Mexico and Carlinhos has been loaned to Remo.
