Flamengo to present Leonardo Jardim at Ninho do Urubu today

Flamengo have confirmed the appointment of Leonardo Jardim as head coach and will present the Portuguese at Ninho do Urubu on Thursday.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the news conference will follow morning training, with media access from 11:00 Brasília time, and supporters can watch on YouTube.

Jardim has signed a two-season contract running to December 2027, succeeding Filipe Luís.

After the unveiling, Flamengo are awaiting his registration to be published in the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol’s Boletim Informativo Diário, the BID. Once listed, he can take his place on the touchline.

Flamengo are likely to have Jardim in the dugout on Sunday when they face Fluminense in the Campeonato Carioca final at the Maracanã, with kick-off at 18:00 Brasília time.
