Flamengo have named their squad for Wednesday’s trip to Chapecoense at Arena Condá at 21:30 in the 20th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with Arrascaeta back available. According to Globo.com, he travels after being with Uruguay at the World Cup.

Arrascaeta last played for Flamengo on 29 April, when the number 10 fractured his collarbone against Estudiantes in the Libertadores. He later picked up a calf problem in early June with Uruguay, he was not cut from the squad but did not feature at the World Cup.

Brazil call-ups Alex Sandro, Danilo and Léo Pereira are included, Alex Sandro recently extended his contract. Gonzalo Plata, who was at the World Cup with Ecuador, is also in the travelling party.

Nico De La Cruz, another Uruguay midfielder, will not travel to Santa Catarina because of the synthetic pitch at Arena Condá. He trained as normal at CT George Helal on Tuesday morning. Fellow Uruguayan Varela remains in the group after the friendly against Olímpia last Friday.

Léo Ortiz continues field work with physiotherapy and fitness staff. Lucas Paquetá is doing muscle strengthening work, and Luiz Araújo has a left knee injury.

Carrascal is training with the squad after returning last from the World Cup. He is suspended for the next two rounds.
