Flavio Rodrigues de Souza to take charge of Santos v Corinthians | OneFootball

Flavio Rodrigues de Souza, 45 and Fifa-listed, will take charge of Santos v Corinthians on Sunday at 16:00 at Vila Belmiro, in the sixth round of the Brasileirão.

According to Diario Do Peixe, his assistants will be Danilo Ricardo Simon Manis and Gustavo Rodrigues de Oliveira, both from São Paulo, with Wagner Reway of Santa Catarina on VAR.

This year he refereed three Santos matches in the state championship, 2-1 wins against Novorizontino at Vila Belmiro and Noroeste at Alfredo de Castilho, and a 2-1 semi final defeat to Novorizontino at Jorjão.

Last season he handled four Santos games. In the Paulistão there was a 2-1 win over Mirassol at Vila Belmiro and a 0-0 draw with Novorizontino at Jorjão. In the Brasileiro he oversaw a 2-2 draw with Red Bull Bragantino at Cícero de Souza Marques and a 3-1 victory over Corinthians at Vila.

In earlier campaigns he took charge of a 2-1 win against São Bernardo at Morumbis, 1-0 derby victories over Corinthians and Palmeiras at Vila, a 1-1 draw with Ferroviária at Canindé and a 3-1 defeat to São Paulo at Morumbi. He also oversaw a 2-1 win against Palmeiras at Arena Barueri, a 2-2 draw with Novorizontino at Vila in the Paulistão, and league meetings with Corinthians, 0-0 at Neo Química Arena and 1-0 at Vila, when Lucas Barbosa’s red card caused controversy.
