Fleetwood Town are nearing deals for strikers Jack Marriott and Jayden Stockley, as per a Patreon report from journalist Alan Nixon.
Fleetwood have evidently been in the market for forward additions throughout this month and are set to address their concerns with a double deal for strikers who already ply their trade in League One.
Marriott, who is expected to arrive from Peterborough United for a figure around the £250,000 mark, is reportedly finalising a medical in Lancashire.
As for Stockley, it appears that the Cod Army have won the race for the towering forward, with the report indicating that Fleetwood were able to offer more favourable terms.
An update from Richard Cawley of the South London Press has revealed that Stockley’s expected move to Lancashire will be a permanent deal.

Scott Brown’s side have managed just six wins in their 27 league matches thus far and are eyeing additional firepower to ensure that they do not get pulled into a relegation scrap.
The verdict
This would represent excellent business from the Cod Army who have certainly been in need of bolstering their attacking options this month.
Marriott represents a quick, dynamic and prolific option who could thrive with a change of scenery, and it was not too long ago when he was thriving in the higher division.
Stockley is a real physical presence who will hold the ball up and get others into play, and there is scope for the pair to work well with each other.
These are two impressive deals if they can get them over the line and will make somewhat of a statement regarding what they can possibly do during the rest of this campaign.
