Fleury Di Nallo mourned as OL fans and rivals send condolences

Supporters’ groups and opposition clubs have paid tribute following the death of Fleury Di Nallo, the Petit Prince of Gerland. According to Le Progres, messages of condolence have been sent to his family and friends.
News of his passing spread quickly across Lyon and prompted immediate reactions from the club’s various groups. The largest association, uniting the Bad Gones and the Kop Virage Nord, offered condolences to his loved ones, spoke of him joining his friend Bernard, and said he embodied OL’s values.
Across supporters’ pages the volume of tributes was vast, much of it shared on social media. Posts hailed a legend and a hero, wished him to rest in peace, and said he had joined the stars.
Regional clubs linked to him, Villefranche and Misérieux Trévoux, which he coached, also shared their sadness. Recognition came too from the camp of rivals, including Saint-Etienne, Toulouse and Montpellier.
Olympique de Marseille extended condolences to Di Nallo’s family and to OL. He faced OM 20 times, scoring 11 goals, a record that underlines the stature of his career.
