FC Barcelona were pushed to the limits last night by Inter Milan as the two teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final encounter.

However, the games continue to come thick and fast for the Blaugrana as they are now set to face Real Valladolid in La Liga on Saturday night.

Three youngsters called up to train by Hansi Flick

Following last night’s match, Barcelona players convened for the recovery training session today at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper with an eye on Saturday’s league game.

And, according to journalist Guillem Boras Perez, there were three new faces called up to train with the first team by manager Hansi Flick.

Indeed, Barça Atletic winger Dani Rodriguez, attacking midfielder Noah Darvich, and young left-back Jofre Torrents were all part of the Catalans’ training session today.

Darvich was also involved in training with the senior players earlier this week before the Inter Milan clash and is a player that Flick is following closely.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez is considered one of the most exciting talents at La Masia – one who could earn a first-team promotion next season given his talent and potential.

In fact, with rotations on the cards for Saturday’s trip to Valladolid, it will not be a surprise to see the 19-year-old be involved in some capacity.

As for Torrents, the 18-year-old left-back is also held in the highest of regard within Barcelona and is seen as a future first-team starter.

The starlet has already made seven appearances for the reserve team this season and could be an option for Flick vs Valladolid, considering that Alejandro Balde is injured and Gerard Martin has not been convincing enough.
