Barcelona are set to resume their La Liga campaign on November 23, as they take on Celta Vigo at Estadio de Balaidos.

Hansi Flick, though, may have to deal with a few injury problems heading into this affair, with several attackers struggling with either knocks or discomfort.

Barcelona’s injury problem in attack

Ansu Fati has recently picked up a fresh knock, which could set him for at least a month whereas Ferran Torres is still yet to return to full fitness.

Lamine Yamal, too, is suffering from discomfort while Robert Lewandowski is currently injured.

Although there are hopes both will be available against Celta, Barcelona are unlikely to take any risk with Yamal, at the very least.

This leaves Flick with Raphinha, and Pau Victor as the only attacking options in the final third.

Flick considering deploying Balde in attack

Keeping that in mind, Flick is considering deploying Alejandro Balde in the attack against Celta Vigo.

This is according to SPORT, which suggests Flick is aware of Balde’s ability to operate in attack, having done so multiple times at La Masia.

The young defender has the pace and dynamism to operate in that position as well, though it remains to be seen how well he combines with other attackers.

Should Balde start at left-wing against Celta next weekend, Gerard Martin is set to occupy the left-back position.

Lamine Yamal, meanwhile, is likely to be rested as Barcelona coach Flick keeps one eye on the important Champions League affair against Brest.
