Flick's call: ex-Barcelona star desperate to return | OneFootball

Return operation underway: João Félix offers himself to Barcelona for 2027 as a free agent

The Portuguese forward João Félix, 26, has made his firm desire to return to Barcelona known on the transfer market once his contract with Al-Nassr expires on June 30, 2027. The attacker, who already wore the Blaugrana shirt on loan during the 2023/24 season, recording 10 goals and 6 assists in 44 matches, is seeking a new spell in the Catalan capital without the need for a transfer fee.

The Portuguese player's performances in Saudi football support his sporting case, with 30 goals and 22 assists in 55 matches, along with a strong start to the current campaign with 4 goals and 3 assists in seven games. His agent, Jorge Mendes, has already communicated this willingness to the Catalan club, which views the move favorably as long as the deal with the Asian club is not extended until 2028, something the player is not currently considering.
