Real Madrid are preparing a summer reset, with Eduardo Camavinga emerging as the likeliest big departure, potentially heading to the Premier League.
Madrid remain alive in LaLiga and the Champions League. Xabi Alonso’s resignation did not bring improvement, with Arbeloa keeping things similar amid persistent injuries. According to Superdeporte, the club plan to shed high salaries, with Alaba and possibly Rüdiger or Carvajal in the final year of their deals.
The 23-year-old midfielder could leave if a convincing offer arrives, with Madrid open to listening. The Premier League is viewed as the most viable route.
Madrid would study bids from 50 million euros as a starting point. Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are said to have shown interest, while Bayern are also monitoring.
The call would not be purely sporting. Camavinga’s versatility is valued, yet his development has not been as explosive as first hoped, and heavy competition from Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde and emerging talents has squeezed his minutes. A major sale could be strategic, depending on reinforcements.
A departure is not obligatory, and a sizeable bid could suit both player and club.
In 2025/26 he has had an irregular role, affected by rotation and fitness. In LaLiga he has 19 appearances and one goal, and in the Champions League nine games, one goal and one assist. His contract runs to 2029, so a strong English or German bid could end his Bernabéu spell in summer 2026.
