Fluminense and Botafogo reach agreement over Savarino transfer

Fluminense remains active in the market to strengthen the squad for the 2026 season. After announcing Jemmes and Arana, the team is close to signing Savarino from Botafogo. The two clubs have agreed on the terms of the transfer and are only waiting for the player's return from Venezuela to finalize the deal, according to GE.

The team will pay a sum of money plus the young prospect Wallace Davi to secure the Venezuelan midfielder. Initially, Fluminense was not willing to permanently transfer Wallace Davi. The idea was to loan him out without a fixed purchase option. However, Botafogo insisted that the transfer be permanent.
