Thiago Silva has enjoyed one of the most illustrious club careers of any modern player.
But some might say his greatest achievement came this weekend back in his homeland.

The veteran centre-back has been back at his old side Fluminense since July but things haven't got entirely to plan for the Rio outfit.
Heading into the final day of theĀ BrasileirĆ£o season this weekend, Flu needed to win to guarantee their safety in Serie A for next season.
And they did just that, beating high-flying Palmeiras 1-0.
As a mark of respect after the game, Thiago Silva walked the entire length of the pitch on his knees.
