Fluminense receive 10-million-dollar bid for Facundo Bernal

Fluminense received a $10 million offer from Real Betis for Facundo Bernal. According to journalist Pedro Brandão of Lance, the Spanish club wants to acquire 100% of the player’s rights. Fluminense bought 60% of the player’s rights for $3.5 million and is now negotiating with Defensor, which owns the other 40%, for a larger share of this possible sale to Betis.

At the beginning of the year, Real Betis approached the Tricolor with an offer lower than the current one. The board promptly rejected it and asked for the $10 million offered in this proposal. Bernal’s rights are split 60% for Fluminense and 40% for Defensor (URU), in addition to 10% of the value of a sale going to the player’s agents.
